Description

Jean Guillou’s composition “La Révolte des Orgues” for nine organs and percussion in Milan Cathedral! For this, the four existing organ works are joined by another five modules of the new mobile pipe organ “Wanderer”, conceived by Paolo Oreni, who here also takes over the virtuoso part at the main organ – at the first 13 performances of this singular work, the “Maître” always played himself. Each time, dedicatee Johannes Skudlik was at the podium, who, like Guillou, understands the work as genuinely European. Bach, Cochereau and a double improvisation complete the concert program.
