Ein Weltfestival für die Orgel
Das 1. Internationale Online Orgel Festival (IOOF) zeigt von Ostermontag, 18. April bis zum 1. Mai über 30 exklusive internationale Orgelfilme von den eindrucksvollsten Orgelbühnen der Welt. Diese stehen während des Festivalzeitraums als Video on Demand zur Verfügung.
Dazu gibt es tägliche Live-Events wie MasterClasses, Webinare, Q&A-Interviews und hochkarätig besetze Online-Panels. Damit bringt das IOOF die großen Organist:innen, Orgelbauer:innen und Orgelprofis aus aller Welt in direkten Kontakt mit dem Publikum.

Ein Weltfestival für die Orgel
Das 1. Internationale Online Orgel Festival (IOOF) findet von Ostermontag, 18. April bis zum 1. Mai 2022 unter der Schirmherrschaft der Deutschen UNESCO-Kommission statt und bietet ein umfassendes und spannendes Programm rund um die Orgel. Das Herzstück des Festivals sind mehr als 30 Konzertfilme von den eindrucksvollsten Orgelbühnen der Welt, die während des gesamten Festivalzeitraums als Video on Demand verfügbar sind.
Zusätzlich gibt es ein beeindruckendes interaktives Programm, bei dem das Publikum in direkten Kontakt mit Orgel-Profis aus aller Welt treten kann:
- Täglich stehen drei Filmbeiträge als Highlights im Mittelpunkt, zu welchen passende Live- Interviews (Q&As) mit den Organist:innen und Filmemacher:innen als kostenlose Sonderveranstaltungen stattfinden.
- In MasterClasses haben nicht nur Studierende die Möglichkeit Online-Live-Unterricht bei internationalen Orgelmeistern zu nehmen.
- Spezielle Webinare bieten Wissenswertes zu verschiedensten Themen rund um die Orgel an: So z.B. “Bach Archiv in Leipzig”, „African Organ Culture“, „Ein Werkstattbesuch bei US- Orgelbauer C.B. Fisk“, „Die Wanderer Orgel – Die weltweit einzige transportable Pfeifen Orgel“ uvm.
- Prominent besetzte Online-Panels laden in Gesprächsrunden zu Themen wie „Frauen in der Orgelwelt“, „How to Survive 35 Years of Service“, „Orgelbauer Roundtable mit Philipp Klais, Michael Kraft (C.B. Fisk), Gerhard Grenzing u.a.“, „Social Media für Organist:innen“,
„Hochschulen in der Krise?”, „Orgel-Komponisten-Talk mit Naji Hakim, Enjott Schneider, George C. Baker u.a.“

Weitere Schirmherren des IOOF sind neben der UNESCO-Kommission Stardirigent Kent Nagano und Bundestagspräsident a.D. Norbert Lammert. Das Festival findet mit freundlicher Unterstützung vom Goethe Institut, Festival e.V., Kurt Redel Stiftung und der Deutschen Orgelstraße statt.
Kooperationspartner sind nationale wie der VEM, BKKD und der Cäcilienverband ACV und internationale Orgel-Verbände wie RCO, IAO (beide UK) und SAKOV (Südafrika).

A world festival for the organ
The 1st International Online Organ Festival (IOOF) will take place from Easter Monday, April 18 to May 1 under the patronage of the German UNESCO Commission and will offer a comprehensive and exciting program all about the organ. The heart of the festival are more than 30 concert films from the world’s most impressive organ venues, available as video on demand throughout the festival period.
In addition, there is an impressive interactive program where the audience can come into direct contact with organ professionals from all over the world:
- Three film contributions take center stage daily as highlights, accompanied by live interviews (Q&As) with the organists and filmmakers as free special events.
- In masterclasses, organists can take live online lessons with international organ
- Special webinars offer interesting information on a wide variety of organ-related topics: For example, “Bach Archive Leipzig”, “African Organ Culture”, “A visit at US-Organ Workshop B. Fisk”, “The Wanderer Organ – the world´s only transportable pipe organ” and many more.
- Prominent online panels invite discussion on topics such as “Women in the Organ World”, “How to Survive 35 Years of Service”, “Organ Builders Roundtable with Philipp Klais, Michael Kraft (C.B.
