The instrument was renovated and rebuilt from scratch by the Vorarlberg organ building company Rieger in a construction period of almost three years. Seit 2016 ist Konstantin Reymaier Wiener Domorganist und bringt damit eine der gewaltigsten Kirchenorgeln Europas zum
Klingen. Reymaier war etliche Jahre kirchenmusikalisch in Oxford und Cambridge
sowie als Gastprofessor für Orgel und Improvisation in Graz tätig. Danach trat
er ins Wiener Priesterseminar ein und ist seit 2009 katholischer Priester. Als
Leiter des Referats für Kirchenmusik der Erzdiözese Wien kennt er sich nicht
nur mit Orgeln aller Art aus, sondern auch mit dem jeweils passenden
