Martin Baker won the prestigious prize for improvisation in St. Albans in 1997 for improvisation and is renowned for this high art. Trained at Downing College Cambridge, he has already worked in London at Westminster and St Paul’s Cathedrals before becoming organist at Westminster Abbey at the age of 24. In 2000, he returned to Westminster Cathedral as Master of Music, and was director of the famous boys choir. He was President of the Royal College of Organists and is in demand worldwide as a performer, lecturer and adjudicator. At Buckfast Abbey he recorded the first solo album on the new Ruffatti organ.

Winfried Bönig has been the organist at Cologne Cathedral since 2001 and thus makes his mark on one of the most important organ positions in Germany. He has been Professor of Artistic Organ Playing and Improvisation at the Cologne University of Music since 1998. Before that, Bönig worked mainly in southern Germany. He grew up in Bamberg, sat at the cathedral organ there as a pupil at the age of 13, later studied in Munich, earned a doctorate in musicology in Augsburg and worked as a church musician in Memmingen for 14 years. Since then, he has travelled all over the world as a concert organist.

Winfried Bönig ist seit 2001 Domorganist zu Köln und prägt damit eine der bedeutendsten Orgelstellen in Deutschland. Bereits seit 1998 leitet er als Professor für künstlerisches Orgelspiel und Improvisation den Studiengang “Katholische Kirchenmusik” an der Musikhochschule Köln. Zuvor war Bönig hauptsächlich in Süddeutschland tätig. Aufgewachsen in Bamberg, saß er mit 13 als Schüler an der dortigen Domorgel, studierte später in München, promovierte in Augsburg in Musikwissenschaft und wirkte 14 Jahre als Kirchenmusiker in Memmingen. Schon seit dieser Zeit reist er als Konzertorganist in alle Welt.

The Schleswig Cathedral organist Mahela T. Reichstatt was born in Stuttgart on the day of the fall of the Berlin Wall. There she studied grammar school teaching (music and French), graduating with the state examination, in addition to BA Church Music B. Study visits over 2.5 years took her to Lyon, Toulouse and Vienna. MA Organ and MA
Church Music A in Hamburg, where she is currently studying for her concert exam in organ (class of Prof. Wolfgang Zerer). She is a prize winner at the organ competition in Shanghai, received a special prize at the organ competition in Kaliningrad. 2021 Mahela Reichstatt started the organ podium Schleswig (YouTube). Also, the Cathedral cantor was elected to the main committee of the GdO.

Die Schleswiger Domorganistin Mahela T. Reichstatt wurde am Tag des Mauerfalls in Stuttgart geboren. Dort studierte sie Gymnasiallehramt (Musik und Französisch) mit Abschluss des Staatsexamens, dazu BA Kirchenmusik B. Studienaufenthalte über 2,5 Jahre führten sie als Stipendiatin nach Lyon, Toulouse und Wien. MA Orgel und MA Kirchenmusik A absolvierte Mahela in Hamburg, wo sie aktuell Konzertexamen Orgel studiert (Klasse Prof. Wolfgang Zerer). Sie ist Preisträgerin beim Orgelwettbewerb in Shanghai, erhielt einen Sonderpreis beim Orgelwettbewerb in Kaliningrad. 2021 hat Mahela Reichstatt das Orgelpodium Schleswig (YouTube) gestartet. Auch wurde die Domkantorin in den Hauptausschuss der GdO gewählt.
Christoph Hintermüller was born in 1993 in Unna (Germany). In 2009, Christoph had the opportunity to participate in “Organ offensive”, a unique statewide project designed to give talented young musicians a chance to receive formal organ lessons. In 2010 he transferred to the renowned Archepiscopal Mallinckrodt High School in Dortmund. In October of the same year, he began working towards the C-Exam in Church Music in the Archdiocese of Paderborn. Shortly afterwards, Christoph was appointed certified ecclesiastic musician of St. Clemens.
He began this in 2013 at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz where he studies with Prof. Daniel Beckmann. Parallel to his studies he was hired as organist at St. Pankratius in Mainz.
A semester abroad began in September 2016 in Los Angeles (USA) where he is studying with Christoph Bull. For this unique project he got a scholarship from Rotary International.
From August 2018 on he studied his Master Degree at University of North Texas with Jesse Eschbach. He received also the Assisting Teaching Fellow and was responsible for the secondaries for organ. In October 2018 he was appointed as organist at Northridge Presbyterian Church in Dallas.

Christoph Hintermüller wurde 1993 in Unna (Deutschland) geboren. Im Jahr 2009 hatte Christoph die Möglichkeit, an der “Orgeloffensive” teilzunehmen, einem landesweit einzigartigen Projekt, das begabten jungen Musikern die Möglichkeit gibt, formellen Orgelunterricht zu erhalten. Im Jahr 2010 wechselte er an das renommierte Erzbischöfliche Mallinckrodt-Gymnasium in Dortmund. Im Oktober desselben Jahres begann er mit der Vorbereitung auf die C-Prüfung im Fach Kirchenmusik im Erzbistum Paderborn. Kurze Zeit später wurde Christoph zum staatlich geprüften Kirchenmusiker von St. Clemens ernannt.
Dieses begann er 2013 an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, wo er bei Prof. Daniel Beckmann studiert. Parallel zu seinem Studium wurde er als Organist an St. Pankratius in Mainz angestellt.

He is also Principal of the Harrodian School, Chairman of the Blackpool National Advisory Board, Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, Fellow of Trinity College of Music, Fellow of Goodenough College, Hon. Fellow of Royal Holloway College and an Hon. Bencher of Middle Temple.
Andrew is a keen liveryman and is a member or honorary member of some twenty Livery Companies. He is Past Master of the Parish Clerks, the Musicians, the Glass Sellers and the Vintners Companies. Last month he celebrated forty years as honorary organist at St James Garlickhythe in his own Ward of Vintry.
