AXEL KROELL

Axel Kroell graduated from the Dortmund University of Music with a major in percussion. From 1984 to 1994, he lived in New York for ten years, where he worked as a freelance producer, songwriter, and arranger. His productions have been awarded numerous gold and platinum awards. Since 1994, he has been working in Munich as a film composer and internet entrepreneur. The International Online Organ Festival (IOOF), which he founded in 2022, reaches a global organ audience.

Hansjörg Albrecht is celebrated worldwide both as conductor and concert organist. Internationally acclaimed as a specialist in Bach and the rich music of the 18th century, he also champions contemporary works, world premieres, and rediscovered composers. Guest engagements have taken him to leading halls in Europe, Asia, and the U.S.. A prolific recording artist, Albrecht has released over 40 CDs, received a GRAMMY nomination, and completed the world’s first organ transcription cycle of all Bruckner symphonies.
FRANCESCO PAINA

Born in 2003, Francesco Paina began piano studies at age seven with M° Giorgio Dalmonte, later pursuing organ at IDSML Vicenza with Marcello Meneguzzo and Annamaria Binato. He is currently studying at the Arrigo Pedrollo Conservatory under M° E. Zanovello. Since 2020, he has served as organist at San Giuliano Church in Vicenza, performing at major festivals including the Vicenza International Organ Festival, Orgelmesse (2022–24), Storie d’organo (Accademia Chigiana, 2024). In 2023, he was Artistic Director of In arte Venice in Venice’s city center. In 2024, he was awarded a scholarship at the prestigious Bayreuth Wagner Festival.
KAYOL LAM
ORGAN EVENTS | COMMUNICATION
A graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, Kayol Lam is a versatile musician actively engaged in organ performance and cultural management. Recent performances have taken her to venues such as Leipzig’s Nikolaikirche and Propsteikirche, the Zeitzer Dom, Southwark Cathedral and St George’s Hanover Square in London. Born in Hong Kong, she also holds a degree in Music from Durham University and a master’s in Cultural Management from Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz. She is currently based in Leipzig and works for the Culture Department in Gera, Germany. She has been part of the IOOF team since November 2022, focusing on fundraising and partner relations.
ELISABETH HUBMANN
WRITING | COMMUNICATION
Organist and musicologist Elisabeth Hubmann focuses on early and contemporary organ music and promotes a transdisciplinary, anti-reductionist approach to the organ. Her practice-oriented research explores the intersections between anthropology, cultural heritage, listening practices, and instrument making. As part of her doctoral studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, she is researching contemporary organ cultures, historical sound heritage, and resilience. She is involved in various music and research projects, including: Orgelpark Amsterdam, Oude Kerk Amsterdam, musik+, Musée suisse de l'orgue Roche, Registri, Toulouse les Argues, Carinthischer Sommer, St. Antonius Oberkassel, and others.
